English Courses for Foreigners in Malaysia
Speak Bright welcomes international students from Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and beyond. Our English course in Malaysia for foreigners combines TESOL-certified instruction with practical support — placement testing, accommodation advice, airport pickup coordination, and EMGS documentation guidance for your stay in Kuala Lumpur.
Student Visa English Requirements
International students enrolling in courses longer than one month typically need a student pass processed through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). You cannot legally study on a standard tourist visa for long-term programmes. Student visa English requirements for admission may include IELTS, TOEFL, PTE Academic, or completion of an approved English programme — Speak Bright can help you meet proficiency requirements through our courses.
Apply at least 4–6 weeks before your intended start date to allow visa processing time, which varies by nationality.
Intensive English Programme
Our intensive English program runs 20–25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with morning (9am–1pm) and afternoon (2pm–6pm) sessions. Ideal for students who want rapid progress before IELTS, university foundation programmes, or professional registration. Six General English levels from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1).
Short-Term & Tourist Visa Options
Visitors on social or tourist passes may join short courses typically up to 4 weeks, subject to immigration rules for their nationality. For a short term English course Malaysia tourist visa enquiry, share your passport nationality and travel dates — we will advise the best enrolment option before you travel.
